Outcome: Claude available inside your team’s actual workspace, no tab-switching.

  1. Open Slack and log in to your workspace.
  2. Go to Apps in the left panel and click “+Add apps”.
  3. Click “Install” and “Add to Slack”.
  4. Allow access to your workspace to add Claude to your Slack.
  5. Once added, click on Claude to chat with Claude through DMs.
  6. Tag @Claude in threads, or use the AI assistant panel, with access to web search, document analysis, and your connected tools.

Pro tip: Use the AI assistant panel over DMs when you need document analysis or web search mid-conversation.
