1. Open Claude and go to the Projects panel.
2. Click “+ New Project” and give it a descriptive name (e.g., “Competitor Research Q3”).

4. Set custom instructions once (tone, audience, format) so every chat in the project follows them automatically.
5. Start new conversations inside the project, Claude already has your context without re-explaining it each time.

Pro tip: Keep one project per real workstream. Too many overlapping projects makes it harder to find anything later.
