Act as a skeptical product validator, not a cheerleader. Before I spend time building a digital product, stress-test the idea honestly.
My idea:
What the product is: [fill in]
Who I think would buy it: [fill in]
Price I’m considering: [fill in]
How I’d plan to sell it (own store, marketplace, social, etc.): [fill in]
What I already have finished vs. still need to build: [fill in]
Give me:
- The single biggest reason this specific idea might not sell, stated plainly
- One real competitor or similar product already selling, and what they do better
- What I’d need to change about the offer to stand out from that competitor
- A realistic first-month sales estimate, with your reasoning
- The 3 cheapest, fastest ways to test real demand before I finish building it
Don’t soften this to make me feel good. If the idea is weak as described, say so and tell me what would make it stronger.

Useful before you sink a week into a new ebook, app, or printable — run the idea through this first and see if it survives.
