Outcome: a source-grounded notebook you can question and revisit, plus an audio version if you’d rather listen.
- Go to Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) and sign in.
- Click “+” to create a new notebook.
- Upload your sources, PDFs, docs, links, or pasted text (up to 50 sources per notebook).
- Ask questions in the chat, every answer cites the exact source passage it came from.
- Open the Studio panel to generate a summary, study guide, or Audio Overview from your sources.
- Choose an Audio Overview format (Deep Dive, Brief, Critique, or Debate) if you’d rather listen than read.
Pro tip: Add a steering instruction before generating an Audio Overview, like “focus on the practical applications,” to shape what the hosts discuss.
